Job Requirements
- Pass security clearance per company policy
- able to perform major life activities including standing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- able to push or pull 60 pounds
- stand for eight hours

- display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
- maintain certification for alcohol service as required
- flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends
- able to perform duties including housekeeping assistance and food and beverage support as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in service, sales, telesales, or guest relations is helpful but not mandatory
- computer literate with ability to operate property management systems
- excellent communication and multitasking skills
- ability to speak and read English

- ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards

Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- follow hospitality standards and adhere to guidelines and procedures
- execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain guest privacy, accommodate special requests
- promote and sell hotel services and amenities
- promote repeat business by taking future reservations and providing recommendations
- identify potential sales leads and report to appropriate individuals
- communicate special requests and needs to housekeeping and other departments
- check credit card validity before shift end
- learn and utilize property management system
- ensure all cash, check, and miscellaneous departments are balanced at shift end
- assist in food and beverage and property cleanliness to enhance guest satisfaction
- maintain a clean and professional lobby and dining area
- have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and practice safety standards
- report any hazardous conditions or unusual occurrences to the manager
- maintain certification for alcohol service when applicable
- be flexible with work schedule including evenings and weekends
- utilize service recovery and communication logs
- maintain stock and cleanliness in the market area
- perform other duties as assigned within capability
