Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, move, transport, push, drag, and place objects under 10 pounds without assistance
  • Able to perform reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash and perform accurate cash counts
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm and process guest check-ins and check-outs and adapt to changes
  • Ensure payments are secured by verifying and adjusting billing as necessary
  • Provide guests with room assignments and information about hotel, directions, amenities, and local points of interest
  • Prepare daily reports and review information to communicate to next shift staff
  • Complete cashier reports and closing duties, and count cash accurately at the end of each shift
  • Accept and log wake-up calls, notifying appropriate departments
  • Communicate emergencies, lost items, or thefts to authorities or security personnel
  • Maintain contingency lists for emergencies and communicate necessary messages
