Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- physical ability to stand for eight hours, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, push or pull 60 pounds

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in service, sales, telesales or guest relations preferred but not mandatory
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- proficiency with computer systems and property management software
- ability to multitask and maintain guest service focus
- strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
- knowledge of hotel operations and reservation procedures
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- willingness to learn and adapt
- certification from responsible vendors if alcohol is served
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- follow company standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures
- execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain guest privacy and accommodate special requests
- promote and sell hotel services and amenities
- promote repeat business by offering future reservations and alternate product recommendations
- identify potential sales leads during guest interactions and report them
- coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding special requests and late check-outs
- verify credit card validity before end of shifts
- utilize property management systems to post charges and balance accounts
- assist in food and beverage and maintain cleanliness in lobby and dining areas
- possess thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and safety standards
- report unusual occurrences to management
- maintain stock and cleanliness in market areas
- be flexible with work schedules including evenings and weekends
- use service recovery and communication logs effectively
- perform other assigned duties as needed
