Job Qualifications
- high school education or GED equivalent
- minimum of one-year experience as a cashier
- previous work experience with data entry
- proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
- displays ability to deal with the public in a courteous and tactful manner
- considerable typing experience including letters, flyers, and reports
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to exercise independent judgment with upper level clerical responsibility
- alternative qualifications acceptable as determined by the City
Job Duties
- Welcomes walk-in customers and answers callers' inquiries
- completes and enters program registration and membership transactions into the appropriate database
- performs various office support duties and housekeeping tasks as scheduled or requested
- completes established opening and closing procedures for the New Brighton Community Center as scheduled
- performs other job-related responsibilities as apparent or assigned
