Job Requirements

  • No experience necessary, must successfully complete Smashburger training program
  • must be 16 years old
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs
  • reliable attendance including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • adhere to Smashburger uniform policy
  • ability to follow all company and legal employment guidelines
  • must produce authorized US work documents
  • participate in E-Verify

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work well within a team
  • basic math skills for cash handling

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile
  • promote a fun and positive work environment
  • work collaboratively with line cooks and managers
  • be knowledgeable of all menu items for suggestions and questions
  • verify guest orders, manage to-go orders, and process POS transactions with cash handling procedures
  • visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
  • follow marketing promotions and encourage guest feedback surveys
  • maintain a safe work environment by adhering to food safety and personal safety standards
  • keep floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms clean using approved cleaning products
  • demonstrate good communication and teamwork in a busy environment
  • uphold integrity and company policies
  • follow cash policies to minimize losses
  • upsell food items via thoughtful suggestions
  • maintain order accuracy to ensure guest happiness and reduce waste
