Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • availability for flexible work hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • basic computer literacy
  • physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, climbing ladders and working in variable temperatures
  • reliable transportation
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently and timely
  • commitment to following safety and store operation policies

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to work in intermittent temperatures including outside and cooler environments
  • ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift or carry up to 25 lbs
  • ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
  • support new hire employee onboarding and training
  • must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
  • adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
  • operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
  • maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels
  • complete all store housekeeping functions such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
  • replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
  • communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
  • check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
  • conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
  • complete other tasks as assigned by management
