Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- availability for flexible work hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- basic computer literacy
- physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, climbing ladders and working in variable temperatures
- reliable transportation
- strong communication skills
- ability to work efficiently and timely
- commitment to following safety and store operation policies
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- reliable transportation
- ability to work in intermittent temperatures including outside and cooler environments
- ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift or carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
- support new hire employee onboarding and training
- must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels
- complete all store housekeeping functions such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
- replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- complete other tasks as assigned by management
