Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- must pass background check
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 25 lbs
- reliable transportation
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and or holidays
- ability to perform basic computer functions
- must have reliable transportation
- ability to work in intermittent temperatures such as outside and cooler
- ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- perform duties of the job in a timely manner
- ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
- support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
- complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
- replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- complete other tasks as assigned by management
