Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform activities such as lifting, bending, climbing ladders/stairs, and working in various temperature conditions
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform duties in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
- Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training
- Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in intermittent temperatures including outside and cooler environments
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
- Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.)
- Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management
