Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see and operate store equipment accurately
- Ability to understand and follow operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items as per supply
- Ability to handle various forms of monetary transactions accurately
- Ability to count and do arithmetic well enough to complete necessary records
- Physical ability to move merchandise and stock displays
- Ability to clean surfaces
- Tolerance to cold temperatures
- Physical strength to lift up to 21 pounds
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and laws
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand English well enough to communicate effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console
- Competence in operating store equipment following instructions
- Skill in preparing DipSide items using available supplies
- Proficiency in handling coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps including making change accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and perform arithmetic to complete required records
- Physical ability to move merchandise and stock shelves and displays
- Capability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Tolerance to exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift packages up to 21 pounds
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience including greeting guests warmly
- Prepare shakes, malts, ice cream cones, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers
- Operate point of sale system and gas console accurately handling various payment methods
- Stock merchandise including shelves, displays, milk box, freezers, and dip cabinet, ensuring neat presentation and stock rotation
- Maintain store security by monitoring guest and lot activity, controlling cash, and following tobacco/alcohol and robbery prevention protocols
- Keep the store and parking lot clean, safe, organized, and monitor equipment and product temperatures
- Complete accurate time records and Customer First Document
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
