Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment including POS terminal, gas console, and to check identification documents
- Ability to understand operating instructions and operate all store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in dip cabinets
- Ability to accurately handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, and food stamps, and make correct change
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and perform arithmetic to complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves, displays, freezers, and milk box and place for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 minutes and as high as 33 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds from floor to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet 3 feet above the floor

- Honesty, integrity, and compliance with all company policies and legal regulations
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience by greeting guests warmly and authentically
- Ensure the store is prepared and ready for guests at all times
- Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits
- Prepare DipSide items such as shakes, malts, ice cream cones, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers
- Operate the point of sale system and gas console accurately, authorize and control gas sales, handle all transaction types including cash, credit, checks, coupons, and food stamps
- Stock merchandise by keeping shelves, displays, milk box, and freezers filled and faced, ensure dip cabinet is filled and presentable
- Maintain store security by minimizing shoplifting and gas drive-offs, control cash levels, follow tobacco, alcohol management and robbery prevention policies
- Keep the store and parking lot safe, clean, and organized, maintain equipment cleanliness, and monitor product and refrigeration temperatures
- Accurately complete time records and Customer First Document
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
