Job Requirements
- Ability to speak hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see and operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console
- Ability to understand operating instructions and operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies
- Ability to handle coins currency checks credit transactions coupons and food stamps making change accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers count and perform arithmetic to complete records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves displays freezers and milk box
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 10 minutes
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds from floor to 5 feet high
- Ability to place a 21-pound package into a dip cabinet 3 feet above the floor
- Must be at least 16 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience greeting Guests with a warm authentic hello
- Ensure store is prepared and ready for Guests at all times
- Prepare shakes malt sundaes sodas and hand-packed ice cream yogurt containers
- Operate Point of Sale system and gas console accurately handling various payment methods
- Stock shelves displays milk box and freezers ensuring proper rotation and presentation
- Maintain security by monitoring guests and controlling cash levels following safety protocols
- Ensure store and parking lot cleanliness and monitor product temperature
- Complete accurate time and customer service records
- Perform other duties assigned by Management
