Job Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to operate point of sale and store equipment
- physical ability to lift up to 21 pounds and perform cleaning tasks
- ability to prepare DipSide menu items
- ability to handle financial transactions accurately
- ability to maintain store cleanliness and safety
- ability and willingness to work up to 25 hours per week
- availability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand spoken English effectively
- ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and check identification
- ability to understand and operate all store equipment
- ability to prepare DipSide items
- ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, and food stamps accurately
- ability to recognize numbers and perform arithmetic
- ability to move merchandise and place for display
- ability to clean counters and surfaces
- ability to tolerate exposure to low and moderate temperatures
- ability to lift and handle packages of specified weights
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience
- greet guests with a warm and authentic hello
- ensure store is prepared and ready for guests at all times
- anticipate needs of guests and provide assistance
- prepare shakes, malts, ice cream, yogurt, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers
- operate point of sale system and gas console accurately
- authorize and control gas sales
- handle coins, currency, checks, credit card transactions, coupons, and food stamps
- stock shelves, displays, milk boxes, and freezers
- maintain dip cabinet and coffee pots
- ensure rotation of stock and check for expiration dates
- monitor security to prevent shoplifting and gas drive-offs
- control cash levels and perform drop procedures
- follow tobacco/alcohol management and robbery/violence deterrence programs
- maintain cleanliness and safety of store and parking lot
- keep store equipment clean and monitor product temperatures
- complete accurate time records and customer documents
- perform other duties as assigned by management
