Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate equipment and check IDs
- Ability to understand and operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers and complete records
- Ability to move and stock merchandise
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate cold and cool temperatures for specified times
- Ability to lift and place packages as described
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English to communicate effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and check identification
- Ability to understand and operate all store equipment including POS terminal and gas console
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise and clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes and as high as 33 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 10 minutes
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8 x 10 x 10 package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet 3 feet above the floor
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience including greeting guests warmly
- Prepare shakes, malts, ice cream, yogurt, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers
- Operate the point-of-sale system and gas console accurately handling all transactions
- Stock merchandise shelves, displays, milk box, and freezers ensuring proper rotation and presentation
- Maintain security by minimizing shoplifting and gas drive-offs while following safety protocols
- Keep the store and parking lot clean, safe, and organized including cleaning equipment
- Complete accurate time records and Customer First Document
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
