Job Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • College course work in related field helpful
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • Experience with properties that have more than 500 rooms
  • Broad understanding of the tourism industry and day-to-day functions of a resort

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage staff, ensuring proper staffing and that associates receive adequate guidance and resources for achievement of job responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance and efficient operation of all front office standard operating procedures
  • Assist the front office team in performing their day-to-day functions whenever necessary to ensure the smooth running of the front office department
  • Perform other duties as required by management
