Job Duties

  • uphold and adhere to the Hotel Emma Purpose of Being, Service Promises and Values and Behaviors
  • maintain knowledge of daily house count, arrivals/departures, VIPs, scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times
  • proactively welcome all guests with a smile and genuine care
  • greet all arriving guests by name and offer luggage assistance
  • coordinate with Valet and Front Desk for check-in procedures
  • transport luggage to and from guest rooms safely and professionally
  • interact with team members and assist other departments as needed
  • assist with special requests and miscellaneous tasks
  • maintain professional radio etiquette
  • communicate pertinent information to Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager
  • open Reception doors for guests and locals
  • report to work on time and in uniform
  • comply with company policies and procedures
  • solicit guest feedback and follow up on issues
  • store guest luggage safely with appropriate tagging
  • transport guests within a three mile radius using hotel vehicle
  • resolve guest complaints and brief Manager on Duty
  • maintain lighting of fireplaces as scheduled
  • maintain personal appearance and grooming
  • be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and hotel policies
