Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- ability to work full-time on-site
- availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Develop in depth understanding of the property management system and POS functionality
- provide gracious and sincere customer service to all arriving and departing hotel guests and visitors
- follow all specified hotel procedures including answering telephones, taking reservations, reading and responding to emails, checking guests in and out, completing group pre-registrations and key packets, posting charges and processing payments, communicating with housekeeping and maintenance, handling mail and coordinating deliveries
- anticipate guests' needs and act promptly to acknowledge all guests anytime
- communicate service and amenities of the hotel to guests and provide Concierge service as needed
- be familiar with hotel information to increase revenues and enhance customer satisfaction including rate structures and sales strategies
- react immediately to resolve guest complaints and refer to management when necessary
- complete shift checklists and special projects
- follow all specified procedures for cash, credit, and gift transactions
- keep front desk and lobby areas clean and organized
- be available to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- be familiar with hotel emergency procedures and provide calm assistance
- follow company policies and safety standards
- attend mandatory meetings
- perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
- develop relationships with local service providers
- work a flexible schedule including overnight shifts as needed
