- Minimum of one year or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of hotel front desk operations and procedures desirable
- Good customer service skills

- Proficiency with cash register and computer operations
- Ability to prioritize, organize and exercise good judgment

Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Greet arriving guests and complete established check-in procedures
- Facilitate guest departures by closing guest accounts and managing room availability
- Regularly calculate and post monies, receipts and guest accounts using proper cash handling methods
- Answer inquiries and accept reservations in person and over the phone using reservation guidelines
- Maintain good guest relations by providing timely and knowledgeable responses
- Operate PBX equipment to manage incoming and outgoing calls and set wake-up calls
- Control cash and credit transactions at the front desk and manage personal bank responsibilities
- Process guest mail, messages and faxes by receiving, sorting and distributing
- Maintain established information sources like log books to enhance communication
- Assist other team members and departments to contribute to overall hotel performance
- Deliver DKN's Home Away From Home experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
