Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
  • Knowledge of PMS systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests immediately and offer assistance
  • Register guests and assign hotel rooms
  • Establish payment methods and verify credit
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change
  • Transmit and receive messages using telephone or PMS system
  • Respond to guest requests timely
  • Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalate to supervisor as necessary
  • Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes
  • Perform bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and audits
  • Work toward increasing guest satisfaction scores
  • Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Assist in the breakfast area or with guest luggage when needed
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
