Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
  • knowledge of PMS systems preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet guests immediately and offer assistance
  • register and assign rooms to guests
  • establish payment methods and verify credit
  • make and confirm reservations
  • compute bills and collect payments
  • transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS
  • respond promptly to guest requests
  • receive and resolve guest complaints
  • secure guest valuables in safes
  • perform bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and audits
  • assist in breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • practice safe work habits and follow safety standards
  • perform other duties as assigned
