Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to communicate in English
  • minimum 6 months of customer service or hospitality experience
  • must be 18 years or older
  • part-time availability
  • ability to work efficiently to meet assigned room quotas
  • adherence to hotel policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • make beds, dust and vacuum all assigned rooms, clean baseboards, remove scuff marks, clean mirrors, toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and floors daily
  • remove all trash from guest rooms, empty wastebaskets, strip, remove, and properly dispose of all soiled linen from guest rooms
  • complete daily assigned room quota
  • report any room damages and/or maintenance repairs
  • complete detail projects assigned by management
  • operate and maneuver housekeeping carts
  • drape or fold guests' clothing, pair guests' shoes, and neatly arrange guests' toiletries
  • replenish guest amenities as required
  • report lost and found items
  • conduct self in a professional manner at all times
  • provide excellent customer service skills to guest as well as co-workers
  • offer the hotel guest the best possible service in a courteous and hospitable manner, having knowledge of hotel information
  • adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
