Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • must be able to stand for at least 8 hours
  • ability to bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move up to 25-30 pounds
  • ability to walk and stand for an entire shift
  • capable of performing repetitive motions

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping or hotel room cleaning is preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards
  • Change linens, make beds, and leave bathrooms spotless
  • Restock guest room supplies such as soap and shampoo
  • Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for the next day before shift ends
  • Remove trash and dirty linens
  • Greet guests with a friendly smile during shifts
  • Inspect rooms to ensure they meet company standards
  • Protect equipment and report any damages or inadequacies
  • Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company practices
  • Maintain high performance with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate customer-oriented and friendly behavior
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Work quickly without compromising quality
