Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Ensure occupied and vacant guestrooms are cleaned and maintained up to standard as demonstrated
  • Ensure ample linen and amenities for guests using additional bedding
  • Remove all soiled linens and towels from rooms and store appropriately
  • Inspect fresh linens for cleanliness and substandard appearance
  • Thoroughly clean guest bathrooms, including walls, bathtub, shower, and toilet using suggested chemicals
  • Dry all surfaces to prevent water marks or spots
  • Arrange toiletries neatly on a cloth in occupied guestrooms
  • Replenish amenities and terry items
  • Make beds to meet appearance standards
  • Fold and arrange guest clothing and shoes neatly
  • Maintain cleanliness of guestroom and bathroom including inside windows and mirrors
  • Remove in-room dining trays and call for pickup
  • Remove used glasses and soiled dining items and report replacements
  • Empty and clean waste baskets
  • Vacuum carpets and wipe furniture and baseboards
  • Ensure entry floors are clean and free of debris
  • Double check cleanliness and amenities placement before moving to next room
  • Recognize and report damaged or missing furniture, fixtures and equipment
  • Ensure all electronic devices are functioning properly
  • Prioritize work based on guest requests
  • Complete room assignments with correct status and update guest history
  • Organize supply closets and work areas to maintain efficiency
  • Return guest articles to Lost and Found following policy
  • Maintain high standards in all housekeeping operations
