Job Requirements
- Works inside assigned area of the hotel
- Ability to use elevators frequently and work in a high-rise tower
- Ability to push up to 150-pound cart
- Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to tolerate cleaning chemicals and processes
- Ability to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks, and eye goggles
Job Qualifications
- Six months to one-year previous experience as a guest room attendant preferred
- Minimum one-year customer service experience preferred
- Ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to all guests
- Ability to work well with co-workers as part of a team
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Ability to meet attendance guidelines and adhere to company policies
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work any day of the week and any shift
- Must wear issued uniform while on the clock
- Must present a contemporary professional image in compliance with company appearance guidelines
Job Duties
- Responsible for cleaning up to 15 guest rooms per shift including but not limited to make beds, change bed linen in between guest stays, remove and replace towels and toiletries, dust furniture, vacuum, mop, sanitize bathrooms and hard surfaces, and kitchenettes
- Clean and maintain work areas
- Complete special projects assigned by floor supervisor and management
- Offer hotel guests courteous and hospitable service with knowledge of hotel staff, services, and surrounding area
- Report any damages or repairs needed to supervisor
- Report all lost and found items to supervisor
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
