Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service or hospitality experience
  • One (1)+ years' experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Make beds, dust and vacuum all assigned rooms, clean baseboards, remove scuff marks, clean mirrors, toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and floors daily
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms, empty wastebaskets, strip, remove and properly dispose of all soiled linen from guest rooms
  • Complete daily assigned room quota
  • Report any room damages and/or maintenance repairs
  • Complete detail projects assigned by management
  • Operate and maneuver housekeeping carts
  • Drape or fold guests' clothing, pair guests' shoes and neatly arrange guests' toiletries
  • Replenish guest amenities as required
  • Reporting lost and found items
  • Must conduct self in a professional manner at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to guest as well as co-workers
  • Offer the hotel guest the best possible service in a courteous and hospitable manner, having knowledge of hotel information
  • Must adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
