Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in hospitality or related field is an advantage
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry supplies
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Positive attitude and guest-focused mindset
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- Basic literacy to complete paperwork
Job Duties
- Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents
- Clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards including changing bed linens
- Collect used bath linens and replenish with fresh linens
- Dust hard surfaces
- Vacuum carpeted areas
- Clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet, etc.
- Replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.
- Stock supply cart with supplies necessary for cleaning guest rooms
- Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork
- Notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms
- Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently
