Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents
  • Clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards
  • Change bed linens
  • Collect used bath linens and replenish with fresh linens
  • Dust hard surfaces
  • Vacuum carpeted areas
  • Clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet
  • Replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps
  • Stock supply cart with supplies necessary for cleaning guest rooms
  • Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork
  • Notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms
  • Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
