Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- prior housekeeping supervisory and hospitality experience desired
- ability to supervise up to 30 employees
- knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- ability to use technology and devices for operational tasks
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- willingness to perform occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs with assistance
- ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- willingness to adhere to safety guidelines
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- prior housekeeping supervisory and hospitality experience desired
- ability to directly and indirectly supervise up to 30 employees within scope of responsibility
- knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- aptitude to effectively utilize specified devices and related technology
- enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member
- strong interpersonal communication skills
Job Duties
- Interacts with guests by meeting the 16 service standards set by the hotel
- clean check outs and stay over rooms, completing between 12 to 14 credits per day
- strip linen and terry
- removes all trash
- clean and stock coffee station and minibar
- report lost and found items
- report maintenance problems by putting service orders through the system
- dust and disinfect all surfaces
- vacuum all carpeted areas
- sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces
- pulls furniture in guestroom as directed
- scrubs all bathroom fixtures and floor with appropriate chemicals
- closes sheers upon completion of cleaning
- empties trashcans, removes empty bottles dirty dishes
- picks up and organizes guest items such as shoes, clothing, books, etc
- replenish bathroom amenities and necessary terry
- replenishes guest's supplies as necessary
- stock work cart, keep it clean and organized
- at the end of shift clean and organize linen closet
- use a device to update the status of rooms
- clean patios and patio furniture
- orders supplies for area of responsibility
- perform major housecleaning annually
- general cleaning of public areas as needed
- uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- other duties as assigned
