Job Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable and consistent attendance
  • must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
  • must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally
  • must be able to walk outside in various weather conditions
  • must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years hospitality or hotel work experience in a four-diamond full-service or boutique hotel preferred
  • housekeeping experience preferred
  • experience in high guest turnover settings preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure rooms meet the Four Diamond cleanliness and presentation standards before guest check-in
  • meticulously prepare guest rooms to the highest standards of luxury
  • flawlessly make beds with crisp linens, meticulously dust, vacuum plush carpets, and polish fine furnishings
  • perform deep cleaning when needed
  • keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and clean, disposing of trash and recyclables appropriately
  • prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use and report any guest-borrowed items to supervisor
  • perform all tasks in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
  • provide a high level of customer service and engage with guests for personalized attention
  • maintain a polished, professional demeanor while engaging with guests
  • maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity with guests
  • respond to special guest requests timely and efficiently
  • report lost and found items and maintenance issues
  • communicate effectively with hotel staff for smooth service delivery
  • complete daily activity logs for co-workers and leadership
  • support peer onboarding and act as a role model
  • provide input on supply shortages and operational improvements
  • adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts
  • other duties as assigned
