Job Requirements
- high school degree or GED preferred
- one year of hospitality experience preferred
- ability to work with cleaning chemicals
- ability to use touch-tone telephone keypad
- well-groomed appearance
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends evenings and holidays
- ability to stand stoop twist reach kneel grip and bend
- ability to push pull up to 150 pounds with training
- tolerate cleaning chemicals without allergic reaction
- ability to work fast paced efficiently
- ability to respond to visual olfactory and aural cues
- ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- ability to work safely while performing repetitive tasks
- ability to dust all surfaces high and low
- flexibility in movement to clean toilets mirrors and bathtubs
- ability to work on hands and knees extensively
- ability to work around dust pet dander and hair without reactions
Job Qualifications
- high school degree or GED preferred
- one year of hospitality experience preferred
- must meet quality time standards and SOP within 90 days
- able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals
- ability to use touch-tone telephone keypad
- must present a well-groomed appearance
- perform duties with a sense of urgency
- maintain good eye contact
- ability to multi-task and maintain organization
- able to read write speak and understand English
- foster teamwork and get along with co-workers
- prior cleaning background in casino or hotel housekeeping preferred
Job Duties
- clean all assigned guestrooms including bathrooms living room areas and entryways
- supply rooms with amenities and linens
- clean windows and mirrors
- vacuum and clean carpeted areas and behind furniture
- respond and clean biohazards in assigned rooms
- fill out daily housekeeping logs
- enter proper codes via telephone to update room status
- turn in lost and found items for proper logging and distribution
- complete work assignments with little direct supervision
- work as a houseperson laundry attendant or pool attendant when required
- clean and maintain cleaning cart
- collaborate and work as a team with other employees
- perform all other duties as assigned
