Job Requirements

  • Three months minimum related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • High school graduate or equivalent, or equivalent vocational training preferred
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
  • Available to work all shifts and any day
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English as it relates to the successful completion of the position's job duties
  • Walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, pull and maneuver a 70-pound maid cart at least 75 percent of time
  • Work outdoors 75 percent of the time in extreme temperatures
  • Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
  • Walk, stand, and/or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces
  • Need to distinguish between shades of color
  • Communicate via radio
  • Vision, hearing, speaking (critical)

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Complete room status reports and follow procedures for entering, recording, and leaving rooms
  • Strip and remake beds, clean furniture, vacuum and sweep carpets, replace amenities, and clean bathrooms according to guidelines
  • Replace moved, missing, or damaged items and report such issues promptly
  • Handle biohazard spills following company and OSHA procedures
  • Respond quickly and courteously to guest requests and complaints
  • Perform other duties as assigned
