Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a similar position preferred
- ability to stand and walk for majority of shift
- ability to push, pull, or maneuver supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- ability to kneel, reach, stoop, bend, scrub, sweep, vacuum, and dust
- knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals used in cleaning guest rooms beneficial
- must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and licenses

- knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals beneficial
- ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses
Job Duties
- Cleaning guest rooms according to company and departmental standards
- changing bed linens
- collecting used bath linens and replenishing with fresh linens
- dusting hard surfaces
- vacuuming carpeted areas
- cleaning bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet
- replenishing room amenities such as tissues, soaps
- stocking supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies
- updating room status and completing departmental paperwork
- notifying housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms
- handling guest requests efficiently
- performing other duties as assigned by management
