Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a similar position preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for majority of shift
  • ability to push, pull, and maneuver supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • capable of kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals beneficial
  • must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and or licenses

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms according to company standards
  • change bed linens
  • collect and replenish bath linens
  • dust hard surfaces
  • vacuum carpeted areas
  • clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and shower, toilet
  • replenish room amenities such as tissues and soaps
  • stock supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies
  • update room status and complete departmental paperwork
  • notify housekeeping office of needed guest room repairs
  • respond to guest requests quickly and efficiently
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
