- High school diploma or GED
- previous experience in housekeeping in a casino or hotel environment preferred
- knowledge of company policies and safety regulations
- ability to effectively communicate in English
- basic mathematical skills
- familiarity with cleaning machinery and supplies
- ability to accept performance feedback professionally

- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- experience with Micros or similar POS software preferred
- ability to operate cleaning machinery such as GRA cart and vacuum
Job Duties
- Sorts, counts, folds, marks and carries linens
- makes beds
- replenishes and/or replaces supplies such as drinking glasses, stationery, TV guides, casino information flyers, menus, matches
- sweeps, scrubs and vacuums floors
- cleans upholstered furniture
- cleans guest room bathrooms including sinks, toilets, showers, vanity area, mirrors and floors
- dusts and/or cleans furniture such as televisions, dressers, chairs, headboards, air conditioning units, vanity, phone, mirrors, wall and ceiling lamps, picture frames
- washes walls, ceilings and woodwork, windows, door panels and sills
- empties wastebaskets and ashtrays
- replenishes bathroom supplies including toilet paper, tissue, soap, shampoo
- ensures all items in the room are in working order including television, lights, air conditioning unit, telephone, alarm clock, drapes, luggage rack
- assists guests with any questions or requests
- maintains open communication with supervisors and managers concerning all housekeeping and guest service related issues
- maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow team members, guests and vendors
- accepts performance feedback professionally
- performs other related duties as assigned
