Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a similar position preferred
  • must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift
  • must be able to push, pull, or maneuver supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
  • must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals beneficial
  • must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications or licenses

Job Duties

  • clean guest rooms according to company and departmental standards
  • ensure security of guest rooms and contents
  • change bed linens
  • collect used bath linens and replenish with fresh linens
  • dust hard surfaces
  • vacuum carpeted areas
  • clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet
  • replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps
  • stock supply cart with cleaning supplies
  • update room status and complete departmental paperwork
  • notify housekeeping office of repairs needed
  • handle guest requests quickly and efficiently
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
