Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or similar experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to push, pull, or maneuver heavy supply cart
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, stooping, reaching, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals advantageous
- Must be able to obtain and maintain certification and licenses as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar position preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift
- Ability to push, pull, or maneuver supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning chemicals beneficial
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms according to company and departmental standards
- Ensure security of guest rooms and contents
- Change bed linens and replenish bath linens
- Dust hard surfaces and vacuum carpeted areas
- Clean bathroom fixtures including sinks, counters, tubs, showers, and toilets
- Replenish room amenities such as tissues and soaps
- Stock supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies
- Update room status and complete departmental paperwork
- Notify housekeeping office of repairs needed
- Handle guest requests efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
