Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years experience in salon and spa, retail, communications, public relations, call center, or related field
  • experience in answering multi-line telephones or customer service
  • good verbal communication skills
  • capacity to work independently
  • friendly, courteous, warm, and welcoming demeanor
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • ability to represent the company positively
  • ability to follow instructions and guidelines
  • proficiency with computer systems
  • attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • some college preferred
  • two years experience in salon and spa, retail, communications, public relations, call center, or related field
  • experience answering multi-line telephones or in customer service position
  • knowledge of salon and spa or customer service concepts, practices, and procedures
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • attentiveness to details
  • good internal and external customer service skills
  • problem-solving abilities with guests and public
  • familiarity with computer systems

Job Duties

  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and in a courteous manner
  • makes appointments, assists customers, sells products and services, resolves challenges, and assists guests
  • responds to customer inquiries and service requests courteously and quickly
  • handles complaints and sales inquiries professionally
  • maintains open communication with internal customers to ensure high service levels
  • takes ownership of guest concerns and follows through to resolution
  • promotes Modern Salon and Spa’s products, services, and locations
  • greets guests, vendors, and visitors, determining the nature of their visit
  • supports and guides Guest Relations Representatives as team leader
  • strategizes with management to meet monthly goals and profitability
  • executes staff scheduling on a rolling basis
  • guides and trains Guest Relations Representatives
  • supports salon inventory, bookkeeping, and maintenance systems
  • assists team members in reaching daily goals
  • trains new employees on internal systems
  • provides coaching and mentorship
  • leads and attends meetings and training
  • schedules one-on-one meetings with staff
