Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of direct or customer service related experience or receptionist experience in a busy office setting
  • Experience working with disenfranchised or medically fragile populations
  • Good computer skills including navigating Google email, Microsoft applications, and databases
  • Availability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work one or more scheduled shifts including 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of direct or customer service related experience or receptionist experience in a busy office setting
  • Experience working with disenfranchised or medically fragile populations
  • Good computer skills including navigating Google email, Microsoft applications, and databases
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts effectively

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service consistent with the organization's vision, mission, and values
  • Assist guests as a concierge by providing information about IHS services, schedules, and external resources
  • Receive and greet visitors and guests professionally while maintaining confidentiality
  • Answer phones, provide information, take messages, and direct calls appropriately
  • Complete guest intakes and exits, inform guests of services, rights, and responsibilities
  • Enter data accurately into SAMi and HMIS including the VI-SPDAT assessment
  • Work collaboratively with IHS staff and external partners to ensure consistent delivery of services
