Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of direct or customer service related experience or receptionist experience in busy office setting
- Experience working with disenfranchised or medically fragile population
- Good computer skills
- Able to navigate google email, Microsoft applications and databases
- Must be flexible and able to multitask
- Able to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Must be available to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of direct customer service or receptionist experience in a busy office setting
- Experience working with disenfranchised or medically fragile populations
- Good computer skills including proficiency with Google email, Microsoft applications, and databases
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a focus on conflict resolution
- Knowledge of homelessness, mental health, and substance abuse issues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional courtesy
Job Duties
- Demonstrate excellent customer service consistent with the organization's vision, mission, and values
- Assist guests with basic information about IHS services, service times and locations, and how to access resources
- Receive and greet visitors and guests professionally and courteously
- Answer phones, provide information, take accurate messages, and direct calls as appropriate
- Complete guest intakes and exits, inform guests of services and their rights and responsibilities
- Accurately enter data into SAMi and HMIS, including using VI-SPDAT for Coordinated Entry
- Work collaboratively with IHS program staff and external partners to ensure consistent service delivery
