Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of customer service experience or 6 months of experience at Froedtert Hospital
  • proficiency with Microsoft programs
  • ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups
  • basic knowledge or training in situational de-escalation techniques
  • willingness to obtain BLS certification within 90 days
  • availability to work 40 hours per week on second shift including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow security protocols during emergency drills
  • preferred proficiency in Epic systems
  • preferred bilingual abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of customer service experience or 6 months of internal experience at Froedtert Hospital
  • proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • situational de-escalation training
  • familiarity with Epic systems preferred
  • bilingual skills preferred
  • ability to execute security protocols during emergencies preferred
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and provide concierge-style customer service
  • assist with navigation and wayfinding throughout the hospital
  • provide accurate information and directions to patients, staff, and family members
  • communicate patient care policies and support efficient patient flow and safety
  • handle interactions with individuals and groups empathetically including stressful situations
  • collaborate with multiple departments such as transport, parking, security, and clinical units
  • track and report data to support customer service analytics
