Job Requirements

  • At least two years of hotel experience
  • At least two years of experience in a leadership position in a hotel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Experience with coaching mentoring and teambuilding
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain composure during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the rooms division ensuring compliance with hotel policies and quality guest service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries concerns and special requests during evening and weekend shifts
  • Greet and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and provide assistance
  • Manage VIP arrivals departures and amenities coordinating special accommodations
  • Support front desk team during peak activity periods and assist with staff coaching
  • Implement and manage the hotel’s daily quality process including goal communication service recovery and problem resolution
  • Assign and instruct rooms division supervisors and monitor hotel occupancy making staffing adjustments
  • Field guest complaints research and negotiate effective solutions prepare written correspondence
  • Collaborate with housekeeping front desk maintenance and F&B teams to resolve service interruptions
  • Prepare forecast expenses and review security logs coordinating with department heads
  • Work with General Manager on policies profitability and consistency
  • Plan organize and participate in hotel meetings such as rooms division front office and staff meetings
  • Review daily revenue reports night audit summaries and occupancy reports
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels for front desk and housekeeping supplies
  • Conduct regular inventory audits place purchase orders and track deliveries
  • Communicate inventory needs and budget considerations to leadership
  • Assist department heads with forecasting supply needs based on occupancy seasonal trends and special events
  • Comply with attendance rules and perform other job-related duties as assigned
