Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least four years of hotel experience including two years in a leadership role
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to maintain composure in emergency situations
  • experience with inventory and procurement processes
  • proficiency with hotel management software
  • commitment to core values and team collaboration

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience working in hotels
  • minimum of two additional years in a hotel leadership position

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the rooms division
  • ensure consistent compliance with hotel policies and quality guest service
  • maximize departmental profits
  • serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests during evening and weekend shifts
  • manage VIP arrivals, departures, and amenities
  • coordinate special accommodations as needed
  • support front desk team during peak activity periods
  • assist with staff coaching and support during evening/weekend shifts
  • implement and manage hotel’s daily quality process including goal communication and service recovery
  • communicate clearly to staff both verbally and in writing
  • assign and instruct room division supervisors
  • monitor hotel occupancy and adjust staffing accordingly
  • supervise and review cost and inventory controls
  • field guest complaints and negotiate solutions
  • document all incidents and communicate relevant information
  • collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and F&B teams to resolve service interruptions
  • ensure security partner accountability
  • prepare forecast expenses and review security logs
  • work with General Manager on policies and profitability
  • participate in various hotel meetings
  • review daily revenue, night audit summaries, and occupancy reports
  • assist with budgeting and financial compliance
  • monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • oversee housekeeping inventory
  • conduct inventory audits
  • place purchase orders
  • track deliveries
  • communicate inventory needs
  • assist with forecasting supply needs
  • treat guests with courtesy and respect
  • display honesty and integrity
  • act as an inspirational leader
  • build strong relationships with colleagues
  • stay updated with hotel protocols and revenue techniques
