Knowledge of modified diets required
Prior food service experience desired
Ability to operate alpha numeric pager
Ability to provide professional and clear communication to customers and able to follow through with customers to ensure their expectations are met

Ability to make quick decisions regarding meal adjustments
Experience in a healthcare or dietary setting preferred

Job Duties

Checking patient trays for accuracy
Updating and preparing nourishment and tube feeding labels
Taking meals' orders for patients and tallying amounts to provide the information to production
Preparing tube feeding accurately
Providing meals to patients with appropriate diets and making on the spot changes when necessary
Operating an alpha numeric pager
Communicating professionally and clearly to customers and following through to ensure expectations are met
