Job Requirements

  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • available to work Wednesdays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Offer best guest service to both members and non-members
  • answer questions and handle complaints and problems
  • give Zoo and Metroplex directions
  • reconcile refunds with cash control
  • make paging announcements
  • issue non-admission related refunds
  • explain current promotions and programs
  • assist lost children and parents of lost children
  • maintain cleanliness of the Guest Relations office, Information Booth and surrounding Zoo areas
  • adhere to Zoo uniform guidelines
  • hand out first aid materials
  • open and or close the office daily
  • enter all membership information and process all members in a friendly, accurate and efficient manner including data entry (via person, mail, phone or internet) and photo processing
  • greet in the front plaza and throughout the zoo dispensing membership information and sales
  • maintain Zoo's lost and found including tagging, logging, and storage of items
  • assemble membership packets and renewals to be mailed or picked up
