Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service by greeting visitors and following museum scripts
- Educate customers and sell museum products, programs, and memberships
- Operate point-of-sale computer system and complete transactions accurately
- Adhere to cash control policies ensuring proper money handling
- Open and complete end-of-day closing procedures including system shutdown and report generation
- Maintain cleanliness and restock materials at the lobby and ticket desk
- Monitor guest entrance and exit for safety and security, report alarms or unauthorized items, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with security and maintenance
- Ensure high standards for birthday and after-hours parties
- Perform all other duties as assigned
