Job Duties
- Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins and check-outs
- manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
- secure payment and verify billing accuracy
- activate and file room keys
- process guest requests and relay messages
- print contingency lists for emergency preparedness
- identify and explain room features to guests
- provide directions and information about amenities, services, and local attractions
- follow up on outstanding requests or issues and ensure they are resolved
- run and review daily reports and logs
- complete designated cashier and closing reports
- handle wake-up call requests and deliver messages
- count and secure bank funds at beginning and end of shifts
- process payment adjustments, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges
- respond to special guest requests and ensure satisfaction
- review shift logs and document pertinent information
- notify security of guest reports of theft
- operate telephone switchboard and manage guest calls
- advise guests of messages and deliver them if required
- log guest requests or issues and coordinate with appropriate departments
- assist guests with internet access
- follow company policies, safety, and security procedures
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- welcome guests and anticipate service needs
- support team goals and maintain quality standards
- read and verify information
- perform other job duties as requested
