Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins and check-outs
  • manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • secure payment and verify billing accuracy
  • activate and file room keys
  • process guest requests and relay messages
  • print contingency lists for emergency preparedness
  • identify and explain room features to guests
  • provide directions and information about amenities, services, and local attractions
  • follow up on outstanding requests or issues and ensure they are resolved
  • run and review daily reports and logs
  • complete designated cashier and closing reports
  • handle wake-up call requests and deliver messages
  • count and secure bank funds at beginning and end of shifts
  • process payment adjustments, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges
  • respond to special guest requests and ensure satisfaction
  • review shift logs and document pertinent information
  • notify security of guest reports of theft
  • operate telephone switchboard and manage guest calls
  • advise guests of messages and deliver them if required
  • log guest requests or issues and coordinate with appropriate departments
  • assist guests with internet access
  • follow company policies, safety, and security procedures
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome guests and anticipate service needs
  • support team goals and maintain quality standards
  • read and verify information
  • perform other job duties as requested
