Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous work experience in high pace operations
  • previous work experience in a luxury environment preferred
  • high proficiency in computer software such as computer programs, apps, and websites preferred
  • ability to speak and write in English
  • must demonstrate intensive customer focus and reliability
  • maintain a well-groomed presentation
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs
  • ability to walk or stand for significant periods
  • must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and plan ahead

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work in tandem with the entire hotel operations team to create an exceptional arrival and departure experience
  • oversee the house car program as well as the guest driving program
  • interact with guests and members in the discovery center face to face, by phone or online in meeting their informational and servicing needs
  • maintain comprehensive local knowledge of the social scene, cultural scene, special events, etc. for South Florida and keep it current
  • ensure the discovery center is a welcoming place, embracing guest contact and recognized as a center of knowledge and resourceful capabilities
  • ensure the discovery team adheres to the Boca Raton and Forbes 5 Star standards for arrival and departure
  • create weekly schedules and adjust staffing levels in accordance with labor standards
  • train and manage performance of all team members
  • resolve problems and de-escalate guest complaints
  • communicate clearly with effective verbal and written English skills
  • act as an ambassador of the resort assisting guests in the lobby and front drive and develop guest relationships
  • maintain cleanliness of the front drive and lobby
  • ensure team members have necessary tools and supplies
  • organize and plan ahead to highlight operational challenges
  • hold team accountable for time and attendance
  • achieve Medallia goals for the bell/door team
  • participate in hiring for departmental roles
  • complete 90 day and annual reviews
  • coach team members and issue progressive discipline
  • develop local knowledge of team members
  • maintain complete knowledge of resort features, restaurant concepts, room types, and amenities
  • multitask in a high pace environment managing conversations, calls, emails, and bookings
  • participate in member events to enhance communication and accessibility
  • maintain professional relationships with outside vendors and restaurants
  • perform other duties as assigned by management leadership
