Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with combination of education, training, and experience
  • At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a public-facing sales position

Job Qualifications

  • Creative thinking skills, initiative, and desire to work collaboratively
  • Goal-driven with ability to meet established deadlines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Previous non-profit experience with knowledge of Tessitura or other fundraising databases is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English fluency is preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance to the Guest Experience team in coordination with the Guest Experience Manager
  • Oversee and execute high performance guest experience operations including welcoming guests, assisting with visit planning, and managing ticketing system and database
  • Handle ticket and membership sales and cash operations
  • Support ongoing efforts to ensure visitor safety and institutional accessibility and inclusion
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints and collect and share visitor feedback
  • Clearly describe, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for guest experience operations in the absence of the Guest Experience Manager
  • Schedule Guest Experience Sales Associates and Hosts to maximize efficiency for daily and after-hours needs, events, and programs
  • Create daily post-rotation schedules to ensure seamless transitions and minimal impact on departments
  • Build strong relationships across the institution through proactive communication and professionalism
  • Deliver exceptional customer service maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism
