Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Standing and walking for 3-4+ hours without rest breaks
  • Ability to lift and carry 5-50 pounds regularly
  • Bending and reaching as part of job duties
  • Ability to use cleaning tools requiring forceful grip
  • Compliance with uniform standards and company policies
  • Comfortable working within a restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Safe Tracks food safety course
  • Position certification through Golden Corral training program
  • Experience in food preparation preferred but not required
  • Proof of food handler certification if required by state
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant appearance and demeanor
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Assist guests by describing menu offerings and buffet locations
  • Ensure product availability and communicate with back of house team
  • Help guests at the buffet when requested
  • Maintain friendly and courteous interactions with guests
  • Clean and maintain bar areas and floors
  • Check, clean, and stock restrooms
  • Dispose of trash and keep guest areas tidy
  • Observe quality and presentation of food and report concerns
  • Follow local health department laws
  • Report equipment issues to management
  • Perform other duties to ensure pleasurable dining experience
