Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old at time of hire
- Experience in a customer service-related job
- Current valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record and three-year baseline with annual review
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs
- Must comply with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
- Ability to work weekend shifts
- On-site work only
- No supervisory or budget responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old at time of hire
- Experience in a customer service-related job
- Experience in patient care preferred
- Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions preferred
- Current valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
Job Duties
- Act as a resource person providing a welcoming experience upon arrival and departure through education, guidance, direction, screening and/or driving, parking and retrieving guest vehicles
- Assist visitors and answer telephone inquiries regarding patient room numbers, location of various departments within the medical center
- Welcome everyone at the designated entrance and safely assist guests to their destination via walk or wheelchair escort including safe transport from a car parked at the entrance
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure proper return and handle valet operations including safe vehicle operation and key tracking
- Train new volunteers
- Check for any broken or unsafe wheelchairs, label as broken and take to Facilities Management
- Assist in carrying guests belongings
- Maintain a well-kept lobby
- Provide routine sanitation of wheelchairs and high-touch surfaces
- Contact Security Department if a guest becomes injured
- Ensure oxygen tanks left at main entrance are taken to a nursing floor for storage
- Communicate any concerns to Supervisor
