Job Requirements
- Conduct activities in alignment with AZA standards and relevant laws
- Use radio, telephone and computer for communication and instructions
- Manual dexterity for typing and handling equipment
- Cognitive ability, auditory and visual acuity, and communication skills to perform duties
- Willingness and ability to work varied and long shifts including holidays and weekends
- Ability to plan for, work and staff special events and unexpected shifts
- Ability to work in various physical positions including sitting, bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Ability to navigate paved and uneven pathways
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two years customer service or phone operator experience
- Effective communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships
- Ability to complete guest correspondence in a timely manner
- Capacity to identify and correct problems quickly
- Courteous and tactful interaction with employees and public
- Effective time management and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of computer operations including email, web browsing, and customer service techniques
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Flexibility and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Data entry experience with minimum typing speed of 40 wpm and alphanumeric speed of 8,000 kph
- Point of sale experience preferred
- Ability to communicate ideas and contribute effectively to the department
Job Duties
- Provide guests with exceptional customer service including but not limited to department guidelines
- Answer all incoming phone queries internal and external
- Place outgoing calls and emails related to guest correspondence
- Politely and diplomatically enforce policies and procedures concerning guests and employees
- Interact with customers via online ChatBot and other methods of guest correspondence
- Maintain highest service standards for members and guests
- Accurately handle payment transactions using cash register and computer adhering to cash handling guidelines
- Perform accurate and complete data entry for all guests within the Galaxy database
- Provide general guest services including guiding, interpreting, day planning, concierge service, and payment transactions
- Train or assist in training new telephone operators
- Adhere to health, safety, fire, and bomb threat procedures
- Follow daily schedules and safety guidelines to ensure guest and staff safety
